1/24
Durring class today, we went to Shane's house and began putting everything together that we had worked on so far. The outter shell wood pieces turned out to be a little warped so we connected them together using liquid nails and 2" screws. Using the liquid nails along with the screws will make sure that the wood stays together and it even ended up helping to straighten out the warped sections. Now that our project is beginning to look more like a spike strip, we got a few new ideas for how our spikes will be deployed. It will be powered by a garage door opener motor and the spikes will move up and down by a rod that will be similar to a camshaft in an engine.
